Confessions of a miss piggy

I have been seriously over eating lately and even though I know its naughty, I just cant seem to resist *wipes crumbs off lips*

Unfortunately, the festive season doesnt just bring countless hours of shopping, waiting in lines and bright, sparkly things - it also brings truck loads of yummy treats :)

This fact is rather good for my mood, but will probably be a disaster for my thighs..heehee...(thank God I have good genes to help me a bit)

Im not even going to list all the weird combinations of food that have been passing my lips lately (mainly because im too embarrassed). Though I will share a little food advice with you today: Sushi and christmas cake do not go well together.

I would love to hear about any strange food combinations you have eaten lately :)

  1. I've been eating everything under the sun, but I am pregnant so that's my excuse. ;-)

I just ate some tortellini with alfredo sauce, a ham and cheese hot pocket, and some sourkraut. How's that for weird?

  2. you know what? ive been eating too much too, and just saturday night ihave a wild craving for spiked egg-nog.

i went out, bought a HUGE bottle, and have since polished it off all by myself.

ive discovered that getting drunk at night helps you sleep really well.

  3. Well.. notsomuch as one of my co-workers. She was coming out of the break room with a chocolate pudding in one hand and a brick of cheese in the other. When I gave her "The Office" look.. she said.. "You know how you know I'm on my period?"

I told her to bring her pudding over so I could dip my doritoes in it.

  5. That is the one thing about the holidays!! You can always eat and never really feel bad about it til the new years rolls around and those pants just don't seem to fit anymore! :) Don't really get to eat strangely around here... hot dogs cheese and southern sweet bbq sauce is about as strange as it gets.. I usually try not to keep food around that can be easily munched on... everything here has to be made on or in the stove!!! :)

  6. I'm going out with work tomorrow, and the typical Swedish Christmas smörgasbord is a weird and horrible mixture of stinking fish, dinky sausages and rice pudding with mandarin segments.

I will have fun watching everyone eating these monstrosities as I munch on ... mmm.. a salad leaf and some French bread perhaps? Better eat before I go out!

  11. my food combos are not too weird, but when I was at work last night, the discussion came up and another lady that was working with me said that she eats peanut butter on her baked potatoe.......gross!

  12. I've been eating like a horse lately. No explanation really, but I plan to blame The Holidays.

I can't think of any weird combinations. A cold turkey frank dipped in egg nog's not weird...is it?

Thanks for stopping by mad pad and commenting!

  13. Ugh, I swore to myself two weeks ago that I would eat any junk food until Christmas, so as my "last meal" I had: a quarter pounder with cheese, french fries, a corn dog, and a milkshake. What self-control problem?!?

  14. Gosh, sounds like you were writing about me! Let's see, yesterday for lunch I ate brownies, Baked Doritos, some popcorn and a random piece of taffy I had sitting around. *gag*

  15. Haha I so know what you're talking about.

Recenlty after a romantic dinner after my fiance proposed to me with a gorgeous diamond engagement ring from www.idonowidont.com we had caviar and then chocolate souffle.

Not a good combo even though separately they are amazing!
