10 things I learnt this weekend

1. 4 day weekends are wonderful. I need one a month.
2. Meat tastes better when cooked on a wood braai (aka BBQ)
3. Dark smokey eye make-up is my new favourite look
4. Marshmallow Easter eggs are very addictive
5.The Boyf looks good with super short hair.
6. Drinking lots of red wine always seems like a good idea, until you wake up the next morning.
7. "The Big Bang Theory" is a funny TV show. Nerds rock!
8. Confidence makes everyone look better
9. Watching too much TV makes your brain mushy.
10. I may have too many routines - and this may be a bad thing

  4. i learned that no matter how much cheesecake and ice cream you eat, it doesn't cure the common cold! however, margaritas on the rocks really do help soothe a sore throat! :) you definitely learned some great lessons this weekend!

    Red wine - I hear ya...I drank a whole freaking bottle on Saturday night at the club - woah!

    FYI - has nothing to do with the fact that I fell - that was on Sunday :)

  6. I love that last one about the routines.

    I have the same. I do everything in routines and get upset when they don't go as planned.

    Also, Woolies is dangerous this time of year. They have the best easter chocolates!

  13. Love marshmallow eggs too. My smokey eyes become racoon eyes by the end of an evening, but I still think it's a sexy look.

  23. 1. I am either too old for smokey eyes or need some help with the process.
    2. I really need a hair cut.
    3. My man really needs a hair cut because I've gotten used to the very short look on him (after years of ponytails).
    4. White wine leads to the same conclusion.
    5. The day after a 4 day weekend is worse than if you had no weekend at all.
