voting and chilling

For those of you who dont know, today is the South African elections. Which also means that it is a public holiday here and that this post will be not be too interesting.

This morning The Boyf and I got up super early so we could avoid getting stuck in long voting lines. By 7:15 am we had already voted (we rock!) . After voting we went for breakfast at a nice coffee shop and then took a long, scenic drive home.

I think I am just going to chill and do random things around the house for the rest of the day (blissful).

Have a fabulous Wednesday, darling readers - i assure you I will post something less random tomorrow. Oh and if you live in South Africa - Go Vote! (if you haven't already)

What you up to today?

  10. I'm still registered where I grew up (didn't bother to change it cos I'm lazy) so I went over to my parents' house, had lunch, and then we strolled over to the voting centre. Quick queue, ten minutes max. Good day! Then I brought home my old monopoly set from my parents' games cupboard, and I kicked hubby's ass.

When do you guys in America vote, if you don't get a day off work? I never realised you didn't get time off! That sucks.
