June goals and a poll

I can't actually believe it is June already...where is this year going ? If the year keeps speeding along like this it may be Christmas time by next month ;)

This month my goals are to:
1. Stay off caffeine - Ive really been doing so well I havent had any caffeine in a month (round of applause please)
2. Get my lazy butt into gym more often - this is always hard in winter, but even more neccesary with all the hibernation food I seem to be eating. lol
3. Save money (well, maybe I can start this after i buy that pair of ankle boots Ive been lusting over)
4. Try to read at least one fictional book this month (ive been reading way too much non-fiction and its making my head hurt)
5. Try to always look at the positives - cause life is too short to be a pessimist

Maybe you have noticed already, but I have a new poll up (on the right). If you bored and feel like telling me how to spend my money, please go ahead and vote. If you dont like any of my options, please feel free to e-mail me any better suggestions *grins*

What are your goals for this month?

my goal for next month is to actually save some money, but i know there's slim to no chance of that happening!

  7. I say save for a new luxe bed! It'll last forever and you'll thank yourself every morning when you wake up.

But all the other stuff sounds good, too. (Except I bet you don't need surgery!)

My June goal is to finish up a couple small projects, then relax, then have a baby by month's end. So, not much... ;-)

  8. My goals are very similar to yours. I want to take up running again. Saving money is always a good thing. My "ankle boots" was a new kitchen counter and deck off the back door. :-) Definitely trying to stay with the positives. "Life is too important to be taken seriously" :-)

  11. ive found that i have a fairly low tolerance for reading non-fiction.

i enjoy it, but i have to cram it between long stretches of good fictional crap...

  17. I am so proud of you about the caffiene...well done, you! And oh, yes! You MUST read a bit of fiction; gotta let the mind "rest" now and again.

  18. Good Luck on giving up caffeine. I am thinking about revamping my eating (I say as I cram another graham cracker with icing in my mouth). Have you ever read SkinnyBitch? I started it and it sounds good so far, but...
I love the being positive goal! We need more positive people in the world. :-)
