Hey, cool car!

A while ago The Boyf and I were driving around, when I randomly spotted a dog and classic car in an interesting garage.....I just couldn't let this photo opportunity pass me by, so I took the above picture ( just before the owner appeared).

I love classic cars. Im not sure what sparked off this love, but for a long time I have been lusting after them from a far.

My dream classic car has always been a 1965 cherry red Mustang (convertible). Though, I do realise this car is not very practical for city life and probably a serious gas guzzler, I still cant help but want one for weekend drives by the coast *sigh*

My more realistic dream car at the moment is the Toyota RAV4. Its really awesome looking, its a Toyota (always reliable) and I would just love to have a SUV.

Whats your dream car/s?

  10. Great photo - it's really beautiful.

My sister's boyfriend imports car parts for muscle cars. He used to own two mustangs - he bought the 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe with all the originals in mint condition and he restored a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback with his dad. He also raced 1973 Chevy El Camino and is now building up a Chev Firenza Can-Am.
He and my sister are such car buffs I barely know anything. I don't really have a dream car, I love little vintage porches and I love jeep wranglers.

  11. Awesome pic! I don't know that I have a dream car. I mean, I like cars, but I tend to dream more practically. Like sid, I really like the TT, I drooled over the convertible bugs forever and if Chrysler hadn't discontinued it, I might have gotten a crossfire.
    Basically anything convertible!
(but, I love my new altima coupe!)

  15. I've been in love with classic cars for years in fact for my first car I was battling it out with my mom for a classic beat up old Datsun that I was going to fix and call Meredith but my mom won on fuel efficiency and tiny-ness (why are old cars so big? Did they have bigger parking spaces in those days???)

I've always loved them because they are beautiful and they are a welcomed difference from the sameness from the cars made now-a-days.

I must say though my fave car is a Jaguar don't ask me what its called (I'm useless with types... I'm a girl in that way) but she is one sweet looking sports car; every time I get a glimpse of one I air-kiss it. It's got a beautiful butt though?

    lol

    later :P

  21. I already have my dream car...a 1998 Chevy Cavalier. All I need now is a chauffeur because (after driving for 20 years) I'm not as excited about it as I used to be.

  22. I'm with you on the Mustang. I almost got a 69 mustang when I was 16 but got a 79 corvette instead. It had t-tops so it was a fun ride.

  25. Beautiful Photo! I'd like a car. Any car. Since I've been living in Edinburgh I've been taking buses, trains and taxi's.One day when I'm big I want to own a BMW Z3. As for the classic cars - something about them, those heavy doors, the seats, the gear stick. Love them. So much charm. I'd be happy with a Volksie Beetle. Maybe the convertable one.

  26. I love that the photo is in black and white. I'm not sure what my dream car is...probably something fast, black and sleek! Maybe someday!
