Sometimes I really enjoy having a good ramble (By "ramble" I mean talking wildly and happily about a bunch of totally random things without even pausing to take a breather). Last night was one of those moments. While mid-ramble The Boyf stopped me for a second and I was reminded of how awesome he is by a short conversation that went something like this --
The Boyf: honey, you do realise you've been rambling to me non-stop for a while now, right?
Me: *smiles* yes, can I carry on a bit longer
The Boyf: of course *laughs*
Lately I really love tea. Somehow even the appearance of tea makes me feel calmer. I guess thats why alot of people go make some tea in stressful times. Right now I am mainly sipping organic rooibos (aka redbush) tea and English breakfast tea. I am also loving teapots. I think we all should use teapots more often.

On a random note: Yesterday I lost 2 followers..it happens ;)
Have a fabulous Tuesday!
Ha ha, Brazen....those followers don't know what they're going to be missing ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm still just trying to get passed the 30 mark! :)
Have a great Tuesday BB and never stop rambling your sh#t (good sh#t) on this here blog!
PS. I dig the pale look! My GF has beautiful pale skin. It's hot!
ReplyDeleteLol, i always try and tell myself they closed their blogger accounts! :P I am also into tea all of a sudden. had rooibos with honey and lemon last night :)
ReplyDeleteChes - Thanks dude! I also dig pale skin - but a change is suppose to be as good as a holiday sometimes ;) Have a great day
ReplyDeleteagreed on the teapots. ditto on the tea cups and saucers - have you been to that place in kalk bay?
ReplyDeleteSuperficial - I like to tell myself that too. lol
ReplyDeleteDorothy - I love Kalk Bay. Which place you talking about?
I would love to collect teapots. TSC won't let me though. Probably a good thing ;-)
ReplyDeletefor me it's the ritual of tea drinking more than the tea itself that's so magical. I think the Japanese can teach us lots about that.
Dont think I've lost any followers yet but maybe I've just bored them all into a coma! lol. Don't worry about those who follow or don't because your blog is a personal thing to you. You can't please everyone all the time but you can write about what you like.
ReplyDeletehehe I didn't even know you can stop following people. Ah, still so much to learn ;)
ReplyDeleteWhats your take on green tea and chai?
mmm...nothing wwrong with wanting to look sun-kissed! nothing like it to hceer you up in the cold weather...just sayin'
ReplyDeleteand i agree with Ches. i love your rambling!

Ugh don't you just hate it when folks hit that unsubscribe button??? Like seriously, you can't take away your devotion and love. I'm just too fragile for that kinda shit. Also ... do you think you could write a blog post on where to find an awesome pair of shorts or mini-skirts???
ReplyDeleteI still heart your blog! those other people suck.
ReplyDeleteI don't even drink tea but I love teapots...is it sad to put coffee in there?
Boo for the 2 who left! If it's any consolation, you have 20 times more followers than I do :) I have more people following me on twitter than on my blog - what does this say? Maybe I ramble on for too long? *ain't that the truth, sista smile*
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, Brazen!
xxx
they don't know what they're missing on, don't worry too much abt these lost followers darling
ReplyDeleteThen you should def go to Nigiro in de waterkant! Its an amazing tea sanctuary:)
ReplyDeleteI think the concept of followers, and that we list them on our pages, is actually pretty distracting. Yes, blogs desire an audience, but specifically how many people are in that audience... why does that matter so much? Naturally I have 12.
ReplyDeleteWell they may have just chosen to follow anonymously. But I'm sorry. I know the elation of finding a new followe- losing them for me... would be rather a sad occasion- glad you handle it better than I
ReplyDeleteI ramble too. A lot. Its just when I am quiet I am thinking and then I like to release the information to make space for more opinions etc.
Tea- well Rooibos yes!
lol, your ramblings are great, they always make me smile :)
ReplyDelete2 reasons I like your blog:
ReplyDelete1. i love spraytans. otherwise i look like a blonde snow white. not cute.
2. i call my boyfriend boyf!

I'm not even sure if I have any regular followers out there at all. How do you find out anyway. Sometimes I think I'm talking to the wall(or the rock), but that's ok, because it's somewhere for me to keep my thoughts an creations tidy anyway.
ReplyDeletei tend to prattle my mouth off when i am nervous. not at all good for job interviews!
ReplyDeletethose 2 who dropped out - sorry for them!
I like your ramblings - especially when you go on about GG :D :D and anyway for someone who rambles on you still make plenty of sense
ReplyDeleteYou lose two and shall gain four more :)))
I think that's why I have a boyfriend, so there is someone who I can ramble to who pretends to listen.
ReplyDeleteLOL love the randomness of the post :)
ReplyDeleteI love tea, it's delicious! :) I'm a big green tea fan
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't me that unfollowed you! :) Are you using feedburner? I know that sometimes the numbers changes everyday but it's not 100% accurate.
ReplyDeleteIt would seems that teapots are the new black - my sister has started collecting them. It's very hard to find an interesting teapot...
ReplyDeleteI read this post yesterday and then had the exact same moment with my bf last night!! There I was rambling away and he stopped me a said are you enjoying your ramble..I was like yes and he was like ok if your enjoying it carry on. I fell about laughing most because I thought of your post immediatly! SO funny!
ReplyDeleteboo for losing followers.... and your previous post with pics of megan fox totally inspired me to watch transformers 2 last night. I want lips like hers haha.
