10 things I learnt this weekend

1. You can still get very sunburnt on a gloomy, cloudy day

2. "Pravda" means truth in russian
3. Mint & chocolate chip ice-cream never dissapoints me
4. Men and woman operate in very different time zones
5. I'm good at starting funny arguements with people
6. A day at the beach is a day well spent
7. Nando's garlic peri-peri sauce is so yummy
8. Its definitely time for a new bed
9. I absolutely love roadtrips with The Boyf
10. Life rushes by way too fast for people not to take a camera everywhere they go :)

  5. I learnt that chucking two handfuls of whole peppercorns straight into a Spanish chicken casserole (paprika and red peppers) is not a good thing...must invest in muslin spice bags, to avoid chomping on peppercorns or having to painstakingly pick them out the pot.

    I also learnt that when an Aikido roll goes wrong, I end up with a giant bruise that spans the spectrum of a rainbow on my arm.

  6. wow, i just thought Pravda was a type of fab vodka.
    the sound of "mint and chocolate chip ice-cream" to someone on a diet is torture. i can taste the creamy goodness. imagine it in a sugar cone...mmm, when i'm as skinny as a rake i'll definitely be getting some.

  11. The getting sunburnt on a cloudy day thing is a lesson i never seem to learn.....my top layer of skin has just recovered from its polony pink state, terrible. Bought SPF 50 now to ensure that was the last time...
