What did you learn this weekend?
Forgot my camera at home too. Had to use my phone.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever gone to the Octopus Garden? It's visual feast. Really. Check it out.
Sid - no, I remembered my camera. just reflecting on the importance of having it with me alot more :)
ReplyDeleteWill have to check that book out :) thx
Ohhhh mint and choc chip is the best!! :) Sounds like you had a nice weekend :) We were freezing! Sooooo missing cape town!
ReplyDeleteI really like the fact that you do this '10 things I learned thing'. I actually wrote in my diary now the things that I learned. Haha, you have inspired me. X
ReplyDeleteI learnt that chucking two handfuls of whole peppercorns straight into a Spanish chicken casserole (paprika and red peppers) is not a good thing...must invest in muslin spice bags, to avoid chomping on peppercorns or having to painstakingly pick them out the pot.
ReplyDeleteI also learnt that when an Aikido roll goes wrong, I end up with a giant bruise that spans the spectrum of a rainbow on my arm.
wow, i just thought Pravda was a type of fab vodka.
ReplyDeletethe sound of "mint and chocolate chip ice-cream" to someone on a diet is torture. i can taste the creamy goodness. imagine it in a sugar cone...mmm, when i'm as skinny as a rake i'll definitely be getting some.
I learnt never to trust somebody that says "trust me".

ReplyDeleteI love this post. Hmmm...I learned that sometimes the most unlikely of people disappoint you; and...never go to Costco the day before Superbowl Sunday!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe getting sunburnt on a cloudy day thing is a lesson i never seem to learn.....my top layer of skin has just recovered from its polony pink state, terrible. Bought SPF 50 now to ensure that was the last time...
ReplyDeleteNando's is amazing. My husband and I ate there many times during our one week stay in London during our honeymoon.
