over tired and stalked by creepy creatures

Some people can function normally with just  a little sleep.....but I am not one of those people. Without 7 - 8 hours of good sleep I become rather delirious, irrational and dazed (basically I act like someone on drugs).

Last night I only had about 3 hours of good sleep - So, today feels a bit like I am  stuck in a badly written b-grade movie (does that even make sense?). I'm over tired....I just need more coffee...and maybe a brownie...

To further add to my lack of mental stability today, I saw some maggots this morning (I have no idea where they came from). The evil little, gross, white, squishy creatures were actually near my front door (busy plotting against me, im sure). To say that I handled the whole experience badly is an understatement. Honestly, I think maggots may actually be beating prey mantis's and spiders on my creepy bugs chart right now.  Anyways...they all dead and gone now (lets never speak of this again, ok?).

How are you today? do tell...

  2. Hmm I think I feel exactly the same as you. Got hardly any sleep, badly hormonal and shaky. I think I may die.

  3. I'm very similar. I need my 8 - 9 hours sleep otherwise I turn into the Bitch from Hell.

Get into be early tonight! If you're anything like me, I'll bet all you can think about is your pillow and closing your eyes and drifting away to heaven-on-earth.

  6. I don't deal well with bugs AT ALL. Any and all bugs. It starts with screaming, then moves on to begging. (Begging J to remove it/them.)

  7. Wow... Sleeplessness seems to be a blog trend this week. Aside from the maggots, I swear this post could have been about me ;-)

  9. I sooo know what you mean re good night sleep! I have a man with a manflu at home, who was tossing and turning second night in a row and I think I'm only surviving this lack of sleep cause I have quite a long to do list at work and am probably using some emergency energy rations that I didn't know of :)

  10. That feeling you're talking about...I hate it. When I'm like that, I have to be extra cautious that I don't misinterpret other people's actions wrongly or that I don't overreact to simple things that are annoying, but moreso because I'm tired (i.e. popping chewing gum, excessively clearing the throat, etc.).

Here, it's just 8:00 a.m. We got some snow out of the blue and are off work today, so maybe I'll take a nap and start over. :-)

  12. I totally and fully agree with you about sleep. Sleep is so so so vital! I think I need like ten hours.. hehe. I don't know HOW people survive without it. I also don't get that saying 'sleep when you're dead.' Hope the coffee helps. X

  13. Oh maggots - nothing worse. Oh and do not have kids - or rather, twins. I tell you, a good nights sleep sometimes seem like a memory only.

  15. I'm jealous of those who can still function and not be as tired on 7-8 hours of sleep. I always need more!

  20. I'm in a daze because I only got 4 hours of sleep last night (I need at least 7). Woke up at 6:30 am and couldn't get back to sleep.

    No bugs though. lol!

  21. argh!! i live in tbk and i've had maggots in summer at least 3 times since i moved in a year and 2 months ago!

i think it's the heat and chicken bones left in the bin: flies come in and lay eggs.

Its disgusting and they induce the same reaction in me: i just want to trample and squish them.

They crawl all over the place and make me squirm!

    Absolutley hate it!!!
