10 things I learnt this weekend

1. Gardening is actually alot of fun and rather addictive (who knew?)
2. Always line the bottom of pot or planter with stones before putting soil in.
3. I could happily live on cheese platters for a while
4. Getting gifts from Paris is awesome
5. I really like The Digital Daggers version of Tears for Fears song "Head of heels"
6.  There is hardly anything The Boyf can't fix or make
7. Caveau restaurant has very tasty sushi and creme brulee
8. Driving the side of a car into a wall, in your own driveaway, is just embarrassing and stupid (and no, I was not drunk or even tipsy)
9. My friend, Betty Bake, makes yummy homemade vanilla & choc chip ice-cream
10. Sometimes just being honest can save the day

  2. I really want to get into gardening too! I want a little herb garden ;-) Maybe you can give us all some tips ;-)

  3. 1. Moving house is a tiresome event, one I hope not to do anytime soon.

    2. There is a reason why some exes remain in our lives (an ex helped me move by bringing his dad's van and carrying stuff).

    3. I love food, maybe too much (We attended a friend's bridal shower on saturday but we were late since I was moving and all. When we got there they were about to eat and I was so happy we got there in the nick of time

  4. if getting any type of gift is fun, I can imagine how lovely it is to get a gift from Paris.
    am a big cheese fan so I feel ya!

    and the brownies and ice cream - well u tasted them so you know.
    oh and by the way the brownies were gluten free.

    i learned not to bring your cell phone into a bar in a big bar and then leave ur boyfriend in charge of it to watch.
    it will disappear.

  9. I learned that my man really cares. Of course, I already knew this but he spent several hours fixing things. When I thanked him, he said, "I like making your life easier." : )
