Great observations.
ReplyDeleteI want one of those M&G cookies right now with my cuppa tea.
The crazy earthquake / tremors / tsunamis / volcanic eruption / possible nuclear meltdowns are definitely a reminder to keep things in perspective!
ReplyDeleteI am totaly with you with the headache thing. Went to bed with one and woke up with one today and it just doesnt want to go away :(
ReplyDeleteI learnt that having a minor operation can still cause massive pain and that if you start drinking on a hot Saturday afternoon at 15:00, you will fall asleep by ten that evening. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI am having a giveway, if you want to check it out :)
I learned that you can think that you want something, then when it's right in front you you, you realize it's not what you want.

ReplyDeleteToo true regarding Japan. Life is short and the world is super fragile :'(
I completely agree about switching your phone off and how natural disasters or big events remind you not to get caught up in the details
ReplyDeleteI know, know, know that I feel better when I take my vitamins, yet I am SO bad at doing it regularly. It's crazy.
ReplyDeleteI need to apply #10 to my way of thinking more often...thanks for the reminder. ☺
I agree wholeheartedly with you on number 9... witnessing the scale of the suffering of the Japanese people really puts our trivial problems in perspective.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to sampling some of those giant cookies next month :-)
