I think Sofia Coppola is a very good producer and director. So far I have loved all her films (especially The Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation).
This week I plan to watch her latest film, Somewhere, which stars Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning. If it's anything like her previous films, I am sure it will be thought-provoking, honest and unconventional. You can watch the trailer HERE

Much love, Bailey from Vanilla Blonde
I thought The Virgin Suicides was weird (and kind of pointless) but I did like Marie Antoinette.
ReplyDeleteWow.. I didnt realise she was behind all those great movies
ReplyDeleteJJ - I think I liked it more because I read the book first :)
ReplyDeleteBrazen, I agree. I also read the Virgin Suicides before seeing the film & that might have influenced it...
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed Lost in Translation, but need to see the other two :)
I've watched Marie Antoinette & Lost in Translation and all I could think was "bleh". It was okay. Won't watch it again. Man haven't watched a good movie in ages. Last thing I watched was "Black Swan" - stunning.
ReplyDeleteSid - I think you either love or seriously dislike Sofia Coppola's films.
ReplyDeleteBlack Swan was totally brilliant.
