Watching people read

At the moment I am rather obsessed with Underground New York Public Library . The cool website, which describes itself as " a visual library featuring the Reading-Riders of the NYC subways",  combines two things I really love: people watching and books.

My favourite thing about the site is that it lists the name and title of each book being read
(I find it so interesting to see who is reading what).

Trot over HERE to visit the site and see loads more photos.

  5. I love the second pic. I love the way the guy is staring at the girl. And I love that she seems to be too engrossed in her book to even notice him.

  6. Wow - what an awesome site and concept! I'm a total book-lover so it's great to see what people are reading. I also love the looks on their faces - the way they're so into the books and what's happening in the story. Great stuff, thanks for sharing :)

  7. UNYPL is so addicting, since you've put up this post I've spent far too much time going through it. I love that it promotes reading, people don't read enough these days.
