I took all the above photos on Fish Hoek beach this year. I live very close to this beach and I'm very thankful that I can do daily coastal walks. This beach tends to get the wind a lot, but when its a still day it's absolutely stunning.
It's also one of the only beaches in the Cape that has shark nets. The nets are only put up on a small portion of the beach, between certain times - but considering the beach has a lot of shark activity, it's better than no nets at all.
Oh and its also the indian ocean side, so the water tends to be warmer than the ice-cream headache inducing waters of the atlantic seaboard.
