After a few months of trying box hair dye (not my best idea), I decided a trip to the hair salon was desperately needed... On Friday afternoon I went to the hairdresser to get some some colour, a cut and a blow dry. I had forgotten just how nice salon dyed hair looks. I think I'm over box dye forever.Its suppose to be spring here, but the weather in Cape Town has turned all dark and grey. Its annoying. I am sooo ready to start wearing happy spring clothes, eating outdoors and wearing flip flops. If only I could teleport myself to a beautiful island until the weather gets better...
Have I mentioned that I can't wait for the third season of Gossip Girl to start? Well, now I have. So looking forward to seeing whats happening with Blair and Chuck *swoon*
You can buy Facebook friends?? Apparently so. Please tell me why would anyone do that? In my opinion, buying "friends"is is a new level of lame. Thank goodness Facebook is totally against "friend" buying. Click HERE to read a bit about it.

I did box dye like, twice and never again. I rather pay the ridiculous amount that a trip to a salon costs, because you really do get what you pay for. :)

I use box dye from time to time, as I'm still studying going to the salon gets a bit pricey. Plus it gives me an opportunit to play aroudn a bit more without it costing a fortune for something I'm not sure I'll like...

ReplyDeleteI'm kinda enjoying the weather at the moment. I love the way rain drops glisten on the very tips of branches. I love how misted over the mountain looks. But I'm also looking forward to wearing shorts again =)

I tried home hair colouring years ago. if I went dark it was fine but when I tried something a little different, my hair turned orange. I had to go the salon the same day it was so bad.

ReplyDeleteRuxandra - I didnt change the colour much. Its now dark brown with a reddish shine (in the sun)

ReplyDeleteIt's the niceness of the salon dye, but also, the experience of the salon treatment. It's such a great way to feel pampered and prettified.
