A May note

May is definitely well on it way to becoming my favourite month,  for three main reasons:
1. I started my blog in May (this year my blog will be two)
2. I met The Boyf in May ( 4 years ago) 
3. It is my birthday Month (and this year is a big one )

This month my one goal is to be calmer and stress less (which, for me, is easier said than done). I am hoping to learn how to stop myself from over reacting and worrying about little things that, in truth, are really not worth the effort of a mental meltdown and are mostly out of my control anyway.

    I also want to be calmer and more relaxed... but so far I have just been stressed.. I hope this all changes... =]


  7. I think everyone's favorite month is their birth month. Mine is.

    And I'd like to share your goal not to stress, but it's difficult after the last 6 months. I thought I had bladder cancer, I thought I was getting another pressure sore, and now I have back pain. Sheesh!

  8. It's a great month to have all these events! I'm jealous of people who have Birthdays in May and the summer. I used to love having my Birthday days before Christmas and now I don't anymore. Anyways, I hope you have a fabulous month!

  9. You goals are very similar to mine from last year. I don't go in for the whole meditation thing but this book really helped me: Daily Meditations for Women Who Do Too Much. It sounds terribly cheesy, but it really is great.

  11. Hmmm. May goals? Thinking about writing (actively writing) something every day of the week. I mean if you want to be an author you have to work at it, right?

  13. I will be turning 30 next month - so I plan on exercising this month to get to my target weight and looking for a job!
