Mid-week notes about this and that

Despite the fact that I woke up this morning to discover that it was only Wednesday (I was secretly hoping I had overslept 2 days and it would be Friday), I am in a fabulous mood. The weather is lovely, the birds are chirping (and by "birds" I really mean the manky pingeon on my windowsill), work is chilled, my pasta lunch is yummy and I feel very loved.

Thankfully my work mug magically reappeared just before I was about to launch my "find my mug"campaign in the office (which may have included posters and random co-worker interrogations)*grins*. I still have no idea who "borrowed" it for so long, but one day I will find them and request a written apology.

I am about to start reading "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen. I have wanted to read this book for quite a while, but since hearing the book is being made into a movie (starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson as lovers - yes, really) I decided that I have to read it before the film comes out. When I'm done with the book, I'm sure I will share my thoughts on my book blog.

    Don't worry, I myself is under the impression that tomorrow must be Friday for some reason. Maybe it's because I need a few days of leave.

    Best. Book. Ever.

    My favorite from the eighty million I've read the past few years. Unfortunately, I'm not fond of young Mr. Pattinson, so I'm not sure how I'll like the movie.

    I hadn't heard of the book but would be keen to give it a read

    Have you seen "Remember Me"? It's a really good film with Mr R Pattinson and he's really good, not always so well-kept and holding it together as in Twilight Series.

    I think I may just read "Water for Elephants" too after hearing such lovely recommendations by Shania! Not too sure if I'm too fond of the Witherspoon/Pattison duo... he seems like too much of a kid.

    I loved "Water for elephants" ! Would be interested to see the movie, although I have found that when books get made into movies,most of the time I prefer the book.
