10 things I learnt this weekend

2. High tea at the One & Only hotel is lovely ( the above photo was taken there on Saturday - a full post about it is coming soon)
3. Terra Nova is a cool, new science fiction TV series
4. THIS is definitely my favourite, Gelish nail colour right now
5. It's so awesome to be able to watch 3D movies at home
6. The Boyf is way more likely to shop impulsively when I am not with him
7. Small cross-body bags are so useful (I bought these two recently)
8. I just can't drink bad,  cheap wine anymore - my tastebuds won't let me.
9. Scientists have proven that you can communicate with dogs using just your eyes
10. Life is too short to hold onto unresolved feelings

What did you learn this weekend?

  1. No cheap wine. Are you becoming a bit of a koogal?

  2. A daft Scots Lass - hahaha, absolutely not. Just seem to have developed a taste for good wine and its usually more expensive :)

  3. Ooooh, yummy tea. Must try the high tea there one day. And totally agree with your number ten point.

  4. 1) I'm a really crappy driver. Drove into a kerb on Friday.
    2) Olivia Rae's blog is awesome. I wish I had as much talent.
    3) There are so many things in CT that I'd love to do! Or places I'd like to see.

  5. Life's too short for crappy wine - and even more so the sparkly variety.

  6. The slings bags are so versatile. I totally agree with point number 10.

  7. Love your lists- as always, ad have been meaning toa sk- where are you getting your "gelish" nails done?

  8. Coffee rings and other things - I get my Gelish nails done at Reyjeane salon in the Atlantic Seaboard :) Will have to do a post about them sometime.

  9. Love the list and love that Gellish colour!
Much love, Bailey from Vanilla Blonde

  10. Haha... I used to live in a block of flats called Terra Nova. There was nothing cool about it, so the TV show wins for sure :-)

I learnt that the nurseries in my area are really expensive and it's totally worht dirving through to Pretoria for garden shopping (bought an arch for my garden - going to grow pretty Petrea plants over it).
