This rainy cold is leading me to think that summer is toying with us all and is not actually coming this year. Why cant the seasons just drop an e-mail to let us know these things, then at least i can make plans to hop a plane to a warmer climate (im thinking Bali). I am sooo sick of winter.
This weekend I am thankfully getting out of the city (if you can even call Cape Town a city). We are going to Grayton as The Boyfs parents are down for the weekend, so we will be spending our time with them. I have never been to Grayton, but i am hoping its chilled and quiet.
Anyways, I am going to go look online for prices of holidays to tropical islands (ahhhh, blissful daydreaming).
Nice to "meet" you by the way. I love your description of yourself, it sounds like me in many ways! Speaking of laughter being the best medicine, have you ever done a Laughter Yoga course/session? I did it once, when they ventured down to Durban, and it was great!I think they're more established in Cape Town.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the weather...same thing going on here. Summer is just teasing us.
Kitty cat - nice to meet you too. I have never heard of that kind of yoga sounds funny..heehee
ReplyDeleteYes summer is a real tease and noone likes a tease ;-)
Have added you to my blogging list already as well. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteRuby - is it really? Thats so very unfair.... *sob*
ReplyDeleteThere is absolutly NOTHING in Greyton - it is veyr much a little tiny town for locals ! lol - should be VERY chilled and relaxed :)
ReplyDeleteMidnitegem - yipeee, im so glad...some peace and quiet for my flu infected body.

ReplyDeleteI'll stop posting lolcat pictures when you stop blogging about things related to recent ones...do you pick your topics based off of the lolcats? Is this the case of life imitating art, or art imitating life?
ReplyDeleteRaining-cats
Oh I love that! Look at tropical brochures or save a tropical scene as your desktop! Niiice!
ReplyDeleteNow, if only we could click our fingers and change the weather accordingly!
CMrobinson - ha ha ha , thats so random. I have never even heard of lOlcats before. Maybe "lolcats" is copying me - those darn, copy cats...heeheehee

And for everybody else not looking cat captioned pictures of kitteh's everyday...
ReplyDeleteICanHasCheezburger - lolcats
FYI - The on-going joke here is that kitteh's can only speak or think cutsey, or lolspeak, as they call it. Some of them are dumb, but sometimes they can be very funny.
Before you complain to much about the rain, try living in a desert. We are lucky to see rain three times a year and the rest of the time it is over 110 degrees.
ReplyDeleteI love a rainy day....or week for that matter.
One last comment, I just want to say thanks for being so sweet, and for the kind words about my writing! You've certainly made me feel "welcome" in the blogging family.
ReplyDeleteZuzula - Good luck with that. Let me know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteCmrobinson - You are funny. I hope you werent implying that i use silly cats for inspiration..ha ha ha ha...
Lotus - Thank you for reminding me that to some the rain is a big blessing
Kitty cat - awww *blush* thats nice to say... (and thank you for all the comments)
