* What did you learn this weekend?
I learned how to make a weird Welsh sound the "Ll" in "Llandudno" has an odd lisped/gutteral "s" sound at the start.
ReplyDeleteAnd I learned that people get very aggressive at oriental buffets on valentines day.
And I learnt that Dave rocks (but, like you, I knew that already).
I have also learnt/learned - right this minute - that I don't know when to use "learnt" or "learned" correctly. Not so hot for a supposed-to-be-fairly-bright postgrad huh?
oh - and what 3d movie did you see? Alien vs Monster?? I've heard it's cute
ReplyDeleteAwww, the last one is so cute! myself and m are also best friends :) your weekend sounds like it was very loved up and nice! :)
ReplyDeleteI learned that sometimes it's a good idea to have a snooze a 6pm, that I can make a MEAN salmon, that you can actually find Tulips in SA and that pay day is too far away (again)
ReplyDeletehey you put up a picture of yourself... or has that been on for a while...?
ReplyDeleteI learnt this weekend that it is fun to go watch a movie (YES MAN!!!) late on a Sunday afternoon. I learnt that Rick's Cafe Americain in TBK has AMAZING food and is quite romantic.
And I learnt that I am with the most amazing man I could ever wish to be with :) *swoon...drool* :)
I learned that you shouldn't put people in boxed and label them. They'll always surprise you. :)
ReplyDeleteI learned that taking breaks from deadline is not something to feel guilty about - if anything it helped me focus again. And I re-discovered how lucky I am to have great friends!
ReplyDeletei learnt to spread my wings and fly... take risks... great post! i also love holding hands!
ReplyDeleteI learnt that staying at home and lying on the couch is as about as much fun as you can get!

ReplyDelete3 out of 10 are about food. u enjoy eating dont you ?
ReplyDeleteI learned that your adult children can amaze you. My son took me to lunch for my birthday and my daughter gave me a card saying thanks for everything I'd ever done for her. Gee, and I thought they wouldn't notice!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I TOO love to hold hands. :)
ReplyDeleteI learned how much I love sushi and that it is really really hard to run in 30 degree weather.

ReplyDeleteI cannot do alcohol chocs - shudders, I think of those little dark choc liqueur bottles from the 80s and I mock charge!
