Fashion designers make everything now days (well almost). So, its not really surprising that alot of them make bicycles too (because even fashionista's sometimes feel like cycling). Here are two designer bicycles I would not mind having....
1. It has a Chanel bag on it *drool*. Pity it's about $17 000
2. Its cute and was once on Gossip Girl ($550)

Would you want a designer bicycle?
So pretty!! love them :) now if i only knew how to ride a bike...
ReplyDeleteHaha, those are classic. I've started running and gyming, but quite a few people have mentioned cycling instead of running for the sake of less damage on the legs, so I've been looking around at bicycles. Now, obviously these fashion bikes aren't ideal, haha, that would be a laugh!
ReplyDeleteIn some countries, these things must be insanely popular!
love the green one - just wish it was orange.
ReplyDeleteLove the Cynthia Rowley one.
ReplyDeleteSuperficial girl - you dont know how? Mike must teach you.
ReplyDeleteChris M - Secretely I know you want the Chanel one too ;)
Gillian - There is a orange Hermes one on the link. Did oyu see it?
Cat - and its not a totally silly price :)
Love the Cynthia Rowley one!
ReplyDeleteBut in my hardcore cycling family me on this "pretty to look at but not for much else" bike would not go down well. Can just see my dads face when saying "But how will you downhill on that thing" Hie-hie!
I love the second one! It's so funky! :)... They make riding bikes look cool... I would so rock that (haha).. XXX
ReplyDeleteI love old bikes! These ones are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI can't say any of them look that appealing nor functional. I am currently looking to purcahse a TerraTrike 3-wheel recumant cycle sometime later this year. at about $3,000 it would be steal next to the $17,000 Chanel.
ReplyDeleteOH man, that Cynthia Rowley one is awesome! I would be happy to just have a large framed print of it!
ReplyDeleteFor years I've wanted an old-school, European-country-type bike. Not a mountain bike. They are so uncomfortable to ride! You have to lean over at a ridiculously uncomfortable angle! And not a road bike with skinny tyres. One of those cool old bikes that you sit relatively upright on, with mudguards and country romance novel written all over them. Maybe even with a wicker basket on the front. ;) Apparently they're called cruise bikes. For riding round the neighbourhood or to the shops. :)
ReplyDeleteJo blogs - I think they are called "beach cruisers" but i may be wrong ;)
ReplyDeleteBruce - it may be cheaper, but does it have a Chanel bag on it? hehehehe ;)
ReplyDeleteI've never been one for designer names, so I'd be fine with a plain old BMX ;-)
