Ohhh i need to get my hands on that book before i watch the movie! :)
ReplyDeleteThe disciplining in public is sometimes necessary because the time you get home and then speak or discipline your child about what he/she have done wrong, your child have forgotten what he/she did especially when they are little.
ReplyDeleteAgree on the afternoon nap thing - life saving indeed
Wish the goold old siesta could be applicable in South Africa. Imagine a 1 hour catnap every day!
ReplyDeleteSuperficial girl - you must . Its good.
ReplyDeleteBlackhuff - Good point. Well, I dont have kids so I dont know alot about disciplining little kids, but i really dont like it when i see parents smack their kid in public. I think if you have to discipline them dont make a spectacle of it. If that makes sense.
Farmgirl - i so agree
ReplyDeletedreaming about an afternoon nap now!
ReplyDeletelearnt no matter how hard you try, there is no way to eat a grapefruit without messing or squirting juice everywhere.
"2. An afternoon nap can save the day (& your sanity)"
ReplyDeletetouche my brazen friend.. touche!
Yeah, disciplining in public is often necessary - spanking in public is not ever necessary. imo.
ReplyDeleteI have all the seasons of V on my seagate media player but have yet to watch them; glad you enjoying it! I watched one Dexter this weekend and hated it.
Gas heater scared the whatzit outta me. Gas ANYTHING scares the whatzit outta me.
i so agree with you on point 4. just yesterday at the zoo i heard something so brutal i decided to remember this when i have my own kids. stupid grown-ups sometimes...
ReplyDeleteSo smart. So sharp. So swell.

ReplyDeleteI never could get into afternoon naps. Ditto about my mother's clothing. She's a formidable woman who stands @ 6 foot 3 inches. My 5 foot 7 frame could never slip into her shoes (literally as her feet are 2 sizes larger than mine). ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful weekend!
Oooh a siesta would be my best hour of the day!
