10 things I learnt recently

Above photo by me

1. Things are only as complicated as you make or allow them to be.
2. I really like my new lace peplum top from Zara - HERE is what it looks like on.
3. Buying flowers for yourself or someone else is always a good idea (no reason needed)
4. I can survive on very little sleep, I'm just not very pleasant to be around.
5. Sometimes you need to take breaks from blogging (hence the lack of posts this week)
6. Adele's James Bond theme song, 'Skyfall', is very cool - you can listen to it HERE
7. THIS is a very interesting photography project using double exposure.
8. High tea at the Cape Grace hotel is really lovely (full blog post coming soon).
9. Catching up with good, old friends always seems to remind you that while so much changes in certain areas of your life, some things always stay the same.
10. This is very good advice:  “Always keep a bottle of champagne in the fridge for special occasions. Sometimes, the special occasion is having a bottle of champagne in the fridge!” -Hester Browne

  1. The body shop in Cavendish is handing out free gifts to everyone who spends R200 or more. The body shop has some really nice fragrances for only R180 for 50ml. Lush, a shop that sells shower gels and body scrubs, has really opened up in Waterfront.

  5. That high tea at Cape Grace is on my CT to do list.
I have learnt that buying flowers is not limited to buy flowers for a vase. Flowers make food pretty and pot plants can cheer you up for longer
